The valley of Echoes-Edale

Enjoy the breath-taking and majestic scenery in the heart of the Peak District National Park, UK . We set up camp in the beautiful valley of Edale. Individual tent for each father and child. There are on site showers and toilet facilities.

Participate in various activities as a team, the activities are designed to motivate, activate, challenge, test and nurture you. You can relax, enjoy, rest, find that moment of tranquillity in between activities. And join us for a bit of fun cooking from the supplies we have.

We have no doubt that this will be a special experience between you and your child that you will carry with you for a lifetime. Although no event can prepare a father for when their child grows up to become a “Teen”, we think that it’s better to experience it in an unfamiliar environment.

The Edale valley is one of the best choices for this type of event in the UK. It is 30 minutes from Sheffield and surrounded by Rushup Edge, on which sit Mam Tor, Bak Tor, Loose Hill and Win Hill.

The camp and the environment will provide you with inspiration, the opportunity to learn new skills and experience. It will provide you with insight into new ways of looking at problems and tasks and how to complete them within the scope of the variables made available to you. Opportunities like these also give you the experience of working with people within your sphere of influence and. Nature has an uncanny ability to constant remind you of you place on this earth and your relationship with your creator.

Cost : £250 per farther and child. Extra children are £100 per child.

Programme:

Day 1- arrive 10am. Set up camp. Orientation. Team tasks. Evening meal.

Day 2- 8am breakfast. Hike. Evening meal.

Day 3- 8am breakfast. Rock activities. Evening dinner.

Day 4- 8am breakfast. Horse riding. Possible caving. Evening dinner.

Day 5- 9am breakfast. Possible bushcraft. Roundup of events. Feedback. Leave in afternoon.
