Kinder Scout and the South Ridge

In the heart of the Peak District National Park is the village of Edale. From there, join us on one the most picturesque walks in the country. Walk along the Pennine Way up to Jacobs Ladder. Follow it all the way round to the North of Kinder Scout to the waterfall and the Kinder Gates. Back over the top to the highest point on the Peak District. Be amazed by the views, the terrain, and the history of the land and its people.

Along the way you can come off the path and try your hand at some scrambling, ranging from the easy to the more accomplished.

Walking along the south ridge itself is an amazing experience due to the views, so have your camera ready. Eventually work your way down back to the village of Edale and a well earned drink, rest, conversation and good company.
