Helvellyn, Striding Edge and Swirral Edge. Starting from the village Patterdale experience one the most famous hikes in the Lakes with an experienced and qualified guide. Striding Edge is one of the most talked about ridge walks in the UK but few people attempt it. We recommend you go with a qualified and experienced guide so you can feel safe but experience the dizzying heights and views. Our guides know all the great spots to stop and the local history of these places.
